It's coming so fast!

As i'm lying on my bed listening to music, my cat sleeping besides me and as I can hear the sound of rain outside, I am realizing that I only have about 12 days like this, then I don't know what to expect!

My room is almost like a natural disaster and the disaster is : ME! Yesterday I started packing all my things because somebody else is going to live in my room. It was kinda hard. All those memories put into a box makes me sad! But I'm sure that I won't regret it. An other hard thing is to see all my friends going to ''cegep'' (college). When i'm going to come back i'm going to be one year before them at school, it may be practical for notes an exams! :D So now the hard part : packing my suitcases! I really don't know how i'm going to manage to put everything in 2 suitcases!! And I only want to full one with my stuff, to have place to bring LOTS of things.

I recently bought 4 books of Italiano/French books! So i'm going to be able to practice and get better. I really want to come back here and be able to say that I almost speak perfect Italiano!

As I was speaking with somebody that's going to Italy in a couple of days too, I realized that i'm not realizing that i'm going to be in Italy! Last time I went on vacation for 10 days, I started to realize where I was like when I stepped for the first time in Jamaica! And I really realized it 2 days after I was there. So yes I'm packing and everything, but it steels doesn't seam real! I'm scared that somebody will wake me up ti tell me that it was only a dream! Since I was a little girl, it was my dream to go on vacation to Italy. But not it's not only for vacation, it's for an experience of a life time!  And it's funny how my mom is so proud of me.  Everybody my mom has the change to talk for more than 5 minutes she tells them about me. Last week, I went with my mom to buy are new floors. She had already spoken to the man in the shop. So a few seconds after I enter (and recognize my mom) he tells me ''Oh! You're the lucky girl that's going in Italy for a year''! He didn't even say hi and I didn't even know who it is! Ahahaha. I'm kinda getting tired of explaining why and with who i'm going in Italy. There's not a lot of people here that know what Rotary is! But I guess I have to get use to it!

My Family

OMG! I remember my last family photos, I had really short hair and I was dressed....well fashion changed. So before I go on my trip, I asked my parents to take new family pictures, because I wanted to have recent photos to show to people and to have nice pictures of us. Oh, and because I hated it when my friends came over at my place and laugh at the pictures. So this is the result.

This is me and my brother.

All my family.

My favorite one!!

So Stressed Out!!

My first Blog post ever! And here I am, 21 days before the big day. I can’t wait. I’ve been waiting for it since november! I’m going to Italy for about one year with Rotary (No it’s not a person ahaha). I have these mixed up fillings. I’m really excited to leave! But it’s so stressing to think that i’m going in My Dream Country, going in a Scientific school, in a family that a never really meet. And, on the other side, I’m so sad to leave all my friends and my family! They are REALLY gonna miss me. Here, i’m 6 hours before Italy. So it’s going to be hard to skype with people! :(
I spoke a couple of times with my host family, they seem so nice! My host mom told me a lot about my new city, food, blablabla. Her daughter told her that since I’m 3 years old, I take some dance classes. So she is trying to find me a dance school.
And here, my family is excited but sad at the same time. My dad really understands me, because he traveled A LOT because he worked on boats. My mom is more like : be careful, I’m going to leave the computer open between noon and 5pm so you can Skype me. Ahahaha. My brother is like : okay, yeah cool. You’re leaving. Have a nice trip.  And my cat..well he sleeps with me now.
The only thing I’m missing is my visa, but it should be arriving soon. Now I’m starting to think about what I should bring with me…I really don’t know. I know that here it’s colder in the winter time and there it’s hotter in the summer. I guess I’ll have to go with my guts on that one.
Now all I can hope for me and everybody who is doing the exchange is a safe trip and a wounder full year.

**And sorry for the errors, I don't really have the chance to practice my English!
